Weekly Contact Lenses

weekly contact lenses
Are there different exam procedures for daily-disposable and weekly-disposable contact lenses?

I was just wondering because my eye doctor never talked to me about daily-disposables, they only gave me a trial of weekly-disposables.

No, there is no difference in the exam. If you think that you might like daily disposables better, just go back and talk to your eye doctor about them. You might even be able to call him about it. I think most eye doctors do offer the weekly or bi-weekly disposables normally. There may be a reason why your eye doctor wanted you to have the weekly disposables, or it may be that the brand he/she prescribed doesn't offer a daily disposable. Just call him/her or stop by, and see what you can find out.
