Theatrical Contact Lenses Cheap

By admin

Can you tell me about Colored contacts?

All I know is that they make your eyes appear a different color, and you wear them in your eyes, and I kind of want them...?

I don't need them for visionary purposes, simply "theatrical" or beauty purposes if you will.

How much do they generally cost, and where can I get them CHEAP?
Do I need a prescription?
Do they affect your sight drastically?
How long can you keep one pair of lenses?
If I have brown eyes what color should I get to make them look green?..

If you answer all of these questions, you're an effing Saint.

I'm young and clueless, try not to be harsh.

You can get colored contacts with no prescription. One of the most common brands is Freshlook. At the doctors office I work at, we charge $40 for a box of 6 lenses. This would give you 3 pair. You could look up 1800 contacts to check out the price, but usually in order to order from those places you need an official doctors prescription (even if you don't have one, they will notate this.)

They should not affect your ability to see, however, if the contact doesn't fit right, the colored part can slip over the pupil and it will be in your line of vision. I would recommend going to an eye doctors office and trying it first.

If you are planning on wearing the contacts everyday, only wear one pair for no more than 2 months. And you cannot sleep in most contacts.

To make your eyes green, it honestly depends on how dark your eyes are. I would recommend Freshlook Colors Green. There is Freshlook Colorblends green, but the plain Colors Green works better. Again, I would visit an eye doctor near you and ask if you can try the different colors on. Most places will let you do this, and this way you know exactly what they will look like.

Hope I answered all your questions!! I spend about 40 hours a week working with contacts, so I know a lot about them!
