Soft lenses are preferred over hard lenses because they are comfortable to use, but in some cases it is a must for the user to shift over to hard contact lenses.
To keep your eyes healthy there are a lot of methods which one can use. Rest and proper sleep is one option but we would rather look at things that are related to contact lenses. Suppose that whenever we use a computer, we blink our eyes less, contact lenses dries up faster.

These precaution should be taken and kept in mind whenever dealing with any sort of contact lenses. Hard, soft or colored contact lenses do not make a difference. If you mishandle your contact lenses then you might even end up blind. Permanent scarring is very common with the misuse of lenses.
