Are contact lenses covered by canadian health care?
I live in Nova Scotia and I am just wondering if contact lenses are covered by health care or if I need to fork over my money for contacts. My vision is dreadful(5.75 and 5.50) and they are a necessity for me to live, and to be honest I can't afford to pay for the price of contacts/glasses every year, so I just wanted to know if it's something I can have paid for me.
