Swimming while wearing O2 Optix contact lenses?
I've checked out their website, and all they say is that it increases the risk of loss of lenses, infections, etc. But one of the main reasons I started wearing contacts was because I wanted to be able to see at the pool, and not have to grope around for my towel afterwards. My eye doctor isn't at the office today, so I can't ask him about this.
So what do you guys think? Do any of you regularly swim with your contacts in? Have any of you had them fall out in the water? Basically, what advice can you give me about swimming with my contacts? In, out, precautions?
Thanks in advance!
I swim every day with contacts in. It really hasn't made much of a difference in my contacts.
I have had them fall out, but I just jump out and put it back in. No biggie.
I would reccommend having them in because then you can see what's going on, the clocks, the T, etc
If you are worried, get the ones that you change every day.
