Is it safe to order colored non-prescription contact lenses off of the internet (eBay, etc.)?
For my birthday I want a pair of colored contact lenses. I have perfect vision and so I don't wear glasses/contacts, I simply want non-prescription colored ones to change/brighten my eye color. I realize it would be 100% safe and guaranteed to just go to an eye doctor and order some, but it would probably be easier to buy some from a seller on eBay or something similar. Is it safe to order from eBay sellers, or could it be unsanitary and could I end up messing up my eyes?
Go to an eye doctor. They need to measure the size of your cornea. A lens that is too small could squeeze it and cause broken blood vessels in your eye (has happened to me) and too large could fall out.
