There's a contact lens stuck in my eye?
I wear contact lenses, and I have monthly disposables. I recently noticed a small discomfort in my eye that was very temporary, and after a little asking I found it was natural. However, I noticed that there was something still on my eye after I had removed the contact lens. I didn't question it, but a couple of days later it was still there. I touched my eye (although this is strongly recommended against, I didn't know what to do), and it felt like the contact lens was still on my iris! Has my lens split in two, or is the feeling of another layer on your iris natural?
I would call my MD or optometrist.
