Contact saline is typically fine to use as long as it doesn't have a lot of stuff added into it. The first answer is completely false - it's not bad for your piercings.
However, I prefer to just stick to making my own sea salt soaks for piercings - 1/4th of a teaspoon of non-iodized sea salt to 8oz of hot water.
