Daily Toric Contact Lenses

Astigmatism; proper index lenses?

I am 48 and have worn glasses since 1968 & rigid gas permeable toric/bi-toric contacts since 1988. Unfortunately, my script gives me greater vision in glasses vs. contacts. Need to update my 1.6 high index progressive lenses and confused which manufacture and index is best for my script.

i-zon is impressive due to my abberations but price is too high, so will continue with a good anti-glare. Current script;
OD: Sphere -4.00 Cylinder -4.00 Axis 008 Dist PD 31.5
OS: -3.00, -4.00, 169, 30.5
Add 1.75 for both eyes
When reading close up small 4-6 size fonts daily at work I look under the lenses or remove my glasses for better clarity. If I wear my multi-focal bi-toric contacts I am forced to add readers. My current lens height has been 30 yet all the new trend styles are much lower in height. Am I force to select a lense height of 32 or higher?
All input is appreciated : )

With progressive lenses (no line multifocals) I would recommend Shamir Autograph II progressives or a Varilux Physio 360. They are great high index lenses for astigmatic patients and come with premium anti-glare treatments automatically. Either of those lens options can also easily be fit into a frame with a B measurement of 30, and the Shamir lens can be fit at a segment height as low as 11mm, while the Physio 360 Short can be fit as low as 14mm. These lenses run in the $500 to $700 ballpark for a set depending on where you purchase them.
