Coopervision Contact Lenses

By admin

Which one is my eye prescription power?

I'm ordering colored contacts online,
they're manufactured by coopervision,
just as my regular contacts are.
now, i have the box for my contact lenses right in front of me,

to order the colored lenses online, you have to select the power for each eye.

(Here's the website with the order info, etc.)

http://www.lens.com/contact-lenses/lens283.asp

My problem is, i dont know which number on the prescription is the power.

on the sticker for the box for my right eye, it says,

+2.50 -1.75

and left eye, it says
+1.50 -1.25

which ones are the powers?

and they're toric lenses, if that's supposed to mean anything.

The prescription you have supplied is incomplete. There should be a third number which is the axis which ranges from 5 to 180.

You prescription for toric lenses is a combination of all three of these numbers. The first number is the shere, the second is the cyl and the third is the axis.

When ordering contact lenses you will also require the BC and DIA of the lens. This will be specified by your optician on your prescription.

If you are still unsure then check with your optician before you order incorrect lenses
