How can I persuade my mum to purchase me some contact lenses? (I'm 14)?
I've been wearing glasses for almost a year now, and I really hate wearing them, and I really don't think I suit them. 
I've researched contacts and how to wear them and clean them and stuff, and I think I'm ready to try them. I've asked my mum but she thinks they're too expensive. What can I say to her to maybe think about buying them?

Get some information on how much it will cost and show that you are responsible enough to take care of them, and your eyes as well ... maybe she will come around? Let her know how many kids are changing to contacts at your age. My daughter wanted them (she's 14) and I go them for her on the condition that she takes care of her eyes and the contacts, but still gives her eyes a rest and wears the glasses in the evenings while her contacts are cleaning. She's been good about it and now I can see her pretty face and no glasses covering her eyes! Good luck!!
