Internet help. Anyone out there?
In the past I added a few websites to my favorites. Using Yahoo as my home page. After I had done the research I wanted to do, I wanted to delete them from my favorites and did so. Now they keep showing up in my history. I delete them over and over, they come back. I cleaned out the internet cookies, cleaned up the old files, defragged and they will not go away. While on the same subject.. while emptying out my internet cookies there are a few files that will not go away there either. the websites I saved in my favorites deals with contact lenses. I was doing a comparison between 1 800 contacts prices and walmart prices and one other website called discount contacts. How do I possibly get rid of them? Its not really that important.. but what if it was essential to get rid of them, then what would I do?
You will need to reset your Internet explorer or any other browser. Go to start...control panel......internet options....select the advanced tab.....select Reset.....then select the Programs tab...manage add-ons and disable anything you don't recognize..then select ok....close any browser window open...and re-open to see the change.
I suggest you clean your computer from the malware and spyware can cause this problem...these are a few free ones to try..
