How can I improve eyesight?

*I have 20/40-20/50 vision and I plan on joining the Canadian forces one day

Is it possible for eyes to reach 20/20 vision through stretching and constant focusing of the eye? I have 20/50 vision with low myopia and moderate astigmatism (thank you ignoramus for the answer). If I stare outside everyday for an hour focusing on far areas, will I be able to cure my myopia or my astigmatism? :( . Are there any eye exercises that can help me improve my eyesight?

I've heard glasses can ruin the eyesight, especially contact lenses. Right now I've broken my glasses, and I'm thinking of not repairing them or buying new ones..

the formula is available at herbdoc.com eyewash formula --use it with the steps in the posts above.

Also get the book bates method of better eyesight found here

be sure to ask the seller if the book contains the eyechart (I think it is in the back of the book and detachable as it is used in the exercises.)

You are totally right about glasses. The author of the book states they did a pilot program in a school system (I think NY)( and all the kids through away their glasses and did the exercises daily. All of them got better vision.

Then years later the program was canceled..kids again started wearing glasses and their improvements left and they kept needing stronger and stronger glasses.

When my 36 year old son was about 10 or 11 the school said his vision was bad and to get him glasses.

The eye doctor said his vision was 20-200 and he had myopia and amblyopia (lazy eye).

The doctor said it could never be reversed.

I disagreed not being a good patient for the allopath. I had recently read Bate's book.

I searched high and low for a doctor trained in bates methods unsuccessfully. then I called the eye division of my state university and they told me none did Bates but some graduates did use other vision therapy. I found one 40 miles away and drove my son there for 20 weeks once a week and he did the eye exercises the doctor recommended.

Meanwhile the school was calling my son out of class and sayign things to him like "your mom doesn't mean to be mean to you" and "you need to talk your mom into getting glasses" putting all kinds of pressure on him and implying I was a bad mom when actually I was a rather superior one, unwilling to trap my son into a life of stronger and stronger glasses unless absolutely necessary..boy that made me mad.

At the conclusion of the 20 weeks, my eye doctor sent the school a letter which I felt very happy with that my son's visdion had improved to 20-40 in one eye and 20-60 in the other and that glasses were not necessary.

My son remained glasses free until he was about 30 when he chose to get glasses due to his visioning worsening. The only bad part is it works best if one is 12 or under but not sure about bates..thaty is the more modern vision therapy that was all I could find. ?we also did the stuff in bates book and read the eyechart daily.

In addition you might want to consider going to a whole food raw food program as in the hallelujah diet or gabriel cousens lean green cuisine book.

Here are some testimonies on improving vision on the hallelujah diet.
