Why did my doctor say I have to wait for contacts?
I'm a teenager and this is my first time getting glasses. I have to get bifocals but I'm only -1.00 in my right eye and -1.25 in my left with a little astigmatism. I'm getting bifocal lenses and we asked about contacts and the doctor said I have to wait...why do I have to wait? How long will I have to wait??
i can answer this because i have the same problem as you except i am very astigmatic and i am 13. as a teen your eyesight can change dramatically in a year. once you hit 18 your eyes dont change so rapidly. then you can get contacts. for you it is because your contacts can be expensive. for me...... they just made contacts for astigmatism a month and a half ago.
