What toric soft contact lenses offer the best vision quality?
I'm getting ready to get soft contact lenses. I have astigmatism. I've tried contacts before and was most impressed by PureVision Toric's clarity over previous lenses that were especially hard to keep straight on the eye. I understand that some contacts are optimized most for comfort, such as being thinner, wetter, and thus sacrifice a little on features to improve vision. I'm not really worried about the comfort level too much, or the price. So then if my absolute top priority was to have the best possible vision, even if the difference was more from a technical perspective, which are considered the most advanced today?
A few contenders might be Biofinity Toric, Purevision for Astigmatism, and Proclear Toric.
I'm not interested in hard contact lenses because those definitely push the limits on what I can take for comfort.
There is no definitive answer to that.
One brand could be best for Larry , but be the worst for Moe....then for Curly Joe, all 3 could work great...or none of the above.
Trial fittings have to be done regardless of who says is the most advanced brand. Torics just don't always react the way we think they will once they are on the eye.
